This 2005 Northstar Walla Walla Merlot was a very dark wine packed with intense aromas of plum, black cherry, blackberry, raspberry, and vanilla. It’s opulent, powerful and yet finessed wine with velvety tannins. One can’t even tell it is 10 years old as it’s so youthful. This is Washington Merlot at its best!
